Plumbing service
Commercial Plumbing Contractor in Chicagoland
Plumbing that works around your operating hours, your tenants and your inspection schedule.
Commercial plumbing has a different set of pressures than a house. Downtime costs money. A failed inspection holds up an opening. A restroom out of service in a retail space generates complaints by the hour. North Service Plumbing works with business owners, property managers and general contractors across Chicagoland on service calls and on larger project work, and we can consult on scope and approach before a project starts.
For service and maintenance we handle restrooms, break rooms and commercial kitchens, water heaters and tankless units, backflow devices, floor drains and grease traps, fixture and flush-valve repairs, and shutoff and isolation work so a problem in one unit does not take down the building. Scheduled preventive maintenance catches the failures that otherwise happen at the worst possible time.
For project work we do tenant build-outs and remodels: rough-in and finish plumbing for new commercial spaces, relocating fixtures, and coordinating with the other trades and the municipal inspector so the plumbing is not the thing holding up your certificate of occupancy.
We carry commercial insurance and can provide documentation for your property manager or ownership group. If you manage multiple properties, one point of contact for plumbing across all of them is usually simpler than a new vendor per building.

“Several times I have had plumbing needs for both new installation of fixtures for renovations and repairs of broken pipes, including septic, well, main stack and sump pump. In the purchase of my new home there were issues found that needed to be addressed. Not only were they repaired in a timely, professional and affordable manner, they also did everything needed to get permits and as a result all repairs were inspected and approved by our village. Marius is a true lifesaver. When something goes wrong, call Marius and he’ll be there on time and do the job right.”
Commercial Plumbing: common questions
Can you work outside our business hours?
Yes. For occupied retail, office and restaurant spaces we schedule disruptive work for evenings, early mornings or closed days so your operation keeps running.
Do you work with property managers and general contractors?
Regularly. We can be the plumbing contractor on a tenant build-out, handle recurring service across a portfolio of buildings, and provide the documentation an ownership group needs.
What types of commercial properties do you serve?
Offices, retail, restaurants and food service, multi-tenant and mixed-use buildings, and light-industrial spaces across the Chicagoland area.
Do you carry commercial insurance?
Yes. North Service Plumbing is licensed in Illinois and insured for commercial work. We can provide a certificate on request.
Can you help before the project starts?
Yes — see our plumbing consulting service. We can review the plumbing scope, flag issues and advise on sequencing before you commit to a build-out or major repair.
